With KONGSBERGs know how as a leading system integrator we can capture data from any source onboard the vessel including the ship’s heart the alarm management system. By capturing and contextualizing data from multiple sources Vessel Insight is able to provide a live and consistent view of the vessel.
SECURE AND SAFE
Your data is safe with us. Vessel Insight is designed and built with security in mind. Onboard data capture is performed in a non-intrusive manner, the data is encrypted, and transfer is always initiated from the vessel. Using a single data infrastructure reduces potential cyber-attack surface onboard. Non-intrusive data collection and network segmentation ensure that onboard systems can not be accessed through from outside through the data infrastructure. DNV-GL has conducted a Technical Qualification of Vessel Insight.
OPEN
The data is yours to share and can be accessed in various ways. The Vessel Insight Viewer provides instant access to the data and the certified Microsoft PowerBI connector enables customers to create powerful business reports and dashboards that combine vessel data with other corporate data sources. The Maritime Marketplace offers a selection of vetted applications to optimize vessel performance or maintenance. The Vessel Insight API can be used to integrated vessel data with other 3rd party applications.
